How It Works
Plain-English explanation of who we are and who does the work.
Free estimates from an independent, local foundation contractor. This site is a referral service.
What this website is
Foundation Repair Lansing is a referral service. We publish helpful information about foundation and basement problems in Lansing and nearby communities, and we connect homeowners with an independent local foundation repair and waterproofing contractor.
We do not perform inspections or repairs. The contractor you're connected with is responsible for its inspection, diagnosis, estimate, pricing, license, insurance, permits, scheduling, the work itself and any warranty. We're not a party to your agreement with them.
What happens when you call or send the form
- Your call is forwarded, or your request is sent, to the contractor currently serving this area.
- Calls may be recorded and tracked so we can make sure requests are answered. You'll hear a notice if a call is recorded.
- The contractor contacts you, inspects the problem, gives you an estimate, and you decide whether to hire them.
Our standards for the companies we refer
- They must hold a current Michigan residential builder or maintenance & alteration contractor license covering the work.
- They must show current general liability insurance before receiving referrals.
- They must give written estimates.
- Homeowner complaints are reviewed, and we stop referring to companies that don't respond.
You should still verify the license and insurance and get the scope in writing yourself. See the checklist on any service page.
Prefer to talk?
Call and describe what you're seeing in the basement or crawl space. You'll be connected with a local foundation and waterproofing contractor that serves your area.
Estimates are provided by the contractor. Repair methods, pricing, warranties and scheduling are set by them, not by this website.
